About this Event
Explore the roots of Ukrainian heritage in Tremont, where the city's Ukrainian immigrant settlement began. Step inside Sts. Peter and Paul Church, an active place of worship that continues to serve the Ukrainian community to this day. As we walk through the neighborhood, you'll pass homes and buildings that once housed Ukrainian immigrant families and businesses, offering a glimpse into the entrepreneurial spirit and resilience of the early community. Along the way, you'll learn about the vital role these establishments played in providing essential services to the growing community. Visit the Ukrainian Museum & Archives, founded in 1952 in response to the urgent need to preserve Ukrainian cultural and historical artifacts, here, you’ll discover the rich history, traditions, and contributions of the Ukrainian people in Cleveland.
This Take a Hike® Stroll is made possible through a partnership with the Ukrainian Museum & Archives (Український музей та архів).
