About this Event
Join us for a hands-on cultural workshop where you will create your own traditional Ukrainian pysanka — a decorated Easter egg made using the ancient wax-resist technique.
Rooted in centuries of tradition, pysanky symbolize renewal, protection, hope, and the arrival of spring. During this guided session, you’ll learn about the history and symbolism behind common patterns and colors, and then create your own unique design using beeswax, dyes, and traditional tools.
This workshop is open to all skill levels — no prior experience is needed. Beyond the creative process, it’s also an opportunity to slow down, connect, and share meaningful time together in a warm and welcoming space.
All materials are provided.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to support the purchase of Ukrainian books for the local library.
✨ Come for the art.
✨ Stay for the stories, colors, and connection.
✨ Leave with your own handmade pysanka and contribute to growing Ukrainian culture in our community.
