Ukrainian Bandura Concert with Mariia Petrovska at Leicester Town Hall

Join us for a very special Ukrainian Bandura Concert in the historic Council Chamber of Leicester Town Hall, featuring the extraordinary talent of Mariia Petrovska.

Mariia is a charismatic bandura player and singer, widely recognised as one of the rising stars of Ukrainian music. With a pure, emotive voice and virtuosic mastery of the bandura, she breathes new life into traditional Ukrainian songs while performing her own contemporary works.

Since moving to the UK after the Russian invasion, Mariia has inspired audiences at the Eurovision Village in Liverpool, London’s Finborough Theatre, and her own solo concert in London. Her performances are not only moving and powerful but also carry the voice and spirit of Ukraine to audiences worldwide.

This concert is organised as part of our special day for senior Ukrainians, but the performance is open to all.

If you are already registered for the Community Gathering for Ukrainians aged 50+, you do not need to book again — your registration automatically includes the Concert.

Held in the grand Council Chamber, it promises to be an unforgettable cultural event in the heart of Leicester.
