About this Event
This UK WEN Expert Panel event will feature expert women economists sharing their perspectives on the topic of 'The invisible hand vs the regulator's hand: how can regulation stimulate innovation?'.
Sarah Pritchard, Deputy Chief Executive of the FCA will open the event and we are delighted to have Laura Noonan (Senior Reporter at Bloomberg News and lead for global financial regulation coverage) chairing the discussion.
Our panel speakers include Dr. Udichibarna Bose (Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Finance at the Essex Business School, University of Essex), Martina Prosperetti (Associate Principal at RBB Economics) and Jessica Barnaby (Manager, Crosscutting Policy Analysis, Economics Division at the Financial Conduct Authority).
The session will begin with panellists sharing their perspectives, followed by a group discussion and questions from the audience.
