About this Event

UK NATIONAL WOMEN'S CONFERENCE

This in-person Conference will bring together women’s organisations from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, alongside representatives from government, civil society, academia, and youth groups. It will serve as a key national platform to advance gender equality and the human rights of women and girls.

As a post-CSW70 convening, the Conference will:

• Reflect on the outcomes of the 70th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70)
• Review progress on the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action
• Examine the UK’s implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW)
