A művész és az acb Galéria jóvoltából megvalósult, az Irokéz Gyűjteményből és más magánygyűjteményekből összeállított kiállítást, Zombori Mónika kurátor jelenlétében tárlatvezetéssel egybekötve nyitjuk meg.
Magyarországon a nyolcvanas évek underground művészete nagyrészt privát helyszíneken zajlott, kisszámú közönség előtt. A legtöbb esetben elkészültük után sem kaptak nyilvánosságot ezek a munkák, maximum kis galériákban lettek bemutatva, így sokszor reflektálatlanul maradtak. Ujj Zsuzsi művészete eklatáns példa erre a tendenciára. A szűk baráti körön kívül nem kapott figyelmet, kortásai a Liget Galéria két kiállításán láthatták, de a szakma lényegében nem is ismerte meg azt a nyolcvanas években. Ujj Zsuzsi több műfajban is párhuzamosan alkotott. Dalszövegeket már az évtized elején írt, majd 1986-ban kezdett el fotókat készíteni. Fotós életműve mindössze néhány évre koncentrálódik, 1991-ben felhagyott vele. Ezt követően a Csókolom együttes alapító énekeseként lett ismert. Ujj Zsuzsi fotói és zenei pályafutása elválaszthatatlanok egymástól, fontos hatást gyakoroltak egymásra. A kiállítás címe egy korabeli, 1987-es dalszövegéből idézet; mint ahogy dalaiban, fotóiban is a szerelmet keresi, a maga öntudatos, megállíthatatlan lázadó hozzáállásával beszél szexualitásról és vágyról.
A kiállítás 2023. november 26-ig ingyenesen tekinthető meg, hétfő és ünnepnapok kivételével, naponta 11:00 és 19:00 óra között.

Cu amabilitatea artistului și a Galeriei acb, din Colecția Irokéz și din alte colecții private, va avea loc vernisajul în prezența curatoarei Mónika Zombori.
În Ungaria, arta underground din anii 1980 a avut loc în mare parte în spații private, în fața unui public restrâns. În cele mai multe cazuri, aceste lucrări nu au fost făcute publice nici măcar după ce au fost realizate, cel mult au fost expuse în galerii mici, așadar rămânând adesea nereflectate. Arta lui Zsuzsi Ujj este un exemplu eclatant al acestei tendințe. Aceasta nu a primit nicio atenție în afara cercului restrâns de prieteni, contemporanii ei au putut s-o cunoască la două expoziții ale Galeriei Liget, dar a rămas în esență necunoscută pentru profesie în anii 1980. Zsuzsi Ujj a lucrat simultan în mai multe genuri. A scris versuri deja la începutul deceniului, apoi a început să facă fotografii în 1986. Opera sa fotografică se concentrează asupra doar câtorva ani, în 1991 a renunțat la ea. Apoi a devenit cunoscută ca solistă și membră fondatoare a trupei Csókolom. Fotografiile și cariera muzicală ale lui Zsuzsi Ujj sunt inseparabile și au avut o influență importantă una asupra celeilalte. Titlul expoziției este un citat din versurile unui cântec din acele vremuri, din 1987; caută dragostea atât în cântecele cât și în fotografiile sale, vorbește despre sexualitate și dorință cu propria atitudine conștientă de sine, rebelă și de neoprit.
Expoziția poate fi vizitată până la 26 noiembrie 2023, între 11:00-19:00, în fiecare zi cu excepția zilei de luni și zilelor de sărbătoare.
Expoziţia face parte din programul Festivalului de Artă Fotografică din Ținutul Secuiesc– VISOR3.

In Hungary, the underground art of the 1980s took place mainly in private venues, in front of a small audience. After they were made, these works of art did not receive any publicity, they were displayed in small galleries at most, leaving them largely unreflected. Zsuzsi Ujj’s art is a particularly obvious example of this trend. She received no attention outside her narrow circle of friends; her work was presented in two exhibitions at Liget Gallery, but was essentially unknown to the art world of the 1980s.
Zsuzsi Ujj has been creating in several genres simultaneously. She started writing lyrics at the beginning of the 1980s and making photographs in 1986. Her photographic output is confined to a few years only, she gave it up in 1991. Thereafter she became known as the founder vocalist of the band Csókolom. Zsuzsi Ujj’s photographic and musical careers have gone hand in hand and have had a significant impact on each other. The title of the exhibition is a quote from one of her lyrics from 1987; as in her songs, so in her photographs, she is searching for love, talking about sexuality and desire with her self-conscious, unstoppably rebellious attitude.
