About this Event

Join the Uhuru Solidarity Movement every Tuesday at 6:30pm CT at the Uhuru Solidarity Center- the organizing center in St. Louis for white reparations to African people; a building owned by the African People's Socialist Party.

In this meeting you will learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities including tabling at events, postering, flyering, t-shirt printing, banner painting and other ways you can get involved in building white solidarity with Black self-determination!

The Uhuru Solidarity Movement is an organization of white people that was created by the African People's Socialist Party (APSP) that builds white solidarity with African self-determination and reparations. We are a dynamic, international organization that is looking for people who want to make a difference in the future of African and all oppressed peoples around the world!

On July 29th, the including the home of APSP founder, Chairman Omali Yeshitela and his wife Ona Zené in north St. Louis, the most resource-depleted area of the city. On April 18th, the US government indicted Chairman Omali along with African People's Solidarity Committee Chair Penny Hess and USM Chair Jesse Nevel.

As white people who benefit from this parasitic system of colonialism, we will not stand by and let them throw these leaders in Pr*son for organizing for African liberation! #HandsOffUhuru #HandsOffAfrica #ReparationsNow

HOW CAN YOU SHOW UP FOR BLACK LIVES?

Volunteering or becoming a member of USM means supporting the programs on the Northside of St. Louis, led by the community itself building their own political and economic power in their own hands. This is what Reparations in action looks like.: An African women's health center & doula training program, a community basketball court, a community garden & farmers market, an African workforce program & housing for Africans coming out of Pr*son, and much more. These are the programs the US government is trying to stop from being funded.

Everyone everywhere in the world who wants to support reparations and African liberation should contribute resources to the Black Power Blueprint in STL. This is the front lines of the African liberation struggle.
