Ugly Christmas Sweater Sip & Pour Candle Making Workshop at Wilderness Run

Join us for an evening of wine and hands-on candle making at Wilderness Run Vineyards with Pearlescent Candle Co. Our workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn the art of candle making from our expert instructors AND sip some amazing local wine while doing so. You'll get to make your own coconut-soy jar candle!

This is the perfect time to make someone a custom Christmas Gift! You will be able to pick your jar upon arrival and will also have the option to make additional candles or wax melts!

Ugly Sweater Contest: Wear your very best Ugly Christmas Sweater for a chance to win a $50 gift card to our store in Spotsylvania Towne Centre! Each guest will get the chance to show off their sweater and vote for their favorite sweater.

Wine and beer are sold separately and not included in the ticket price. We will be in the Vineyard Room in the back of the building, follow the Wine signs! Please do your best to arrive on time.

What's included:

• One 10oz jar to make your 100% coconut-soy jar candle in. We will have several jar options available! You will choose your jar upon arrival.
• The option to dye your wax from available colors. Your selected color will shine through your clear jar, highlighting the beautiful color you selected.
• The option to Marble or Tie Dye your candle if you pick the Apothecay jar.
• Over 25 fragrance options including numerous festive holiday fragrances! You can also blend fragrances together to make your own personal aroma.
• Dried flower petals that you can add to the top of your candle.
• Ribbon you can add to your jar to make it look gift-ready and festive!
• Guided instruction
• Pre-made labels, stickers, blank labels and markers to create your own label.

Your candle must set and cure for 3 hours (because they'll still be liquid). You'll have the option to pick up your candle the next day at the Vineyard or anytime after Thursday evening at our store in Spotsylvania Towne Centre. Candles cannot be taken home immediately after your workshop.

During the workshop, you'll discover the secrets of creating your own beautiful and fragrant candles. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned candle enthusiast, our workshops are designed to cater to all skill levels.

At Pearlescent Candle Co, we provide all the necessary materials and tools, so you can dive right into the creative process. You'll learn about different types of wax, wicks, and fragrances, and get hands-on experience pouring and decorating your very own candles.

Want to make two candles? Once you arrive, you'll have the option to add on a second 10oz or Wax Melts.
Important Notes:
-Due to how late this event goes, it is a 21+ workshop/event. Minors are not allowed. We offer family friendly workshop options every Saturday at our store in Spotsylvania Towne Centre.
-Since we will be handling hot wax, a waiver is required to be signed before you begin your class. Any unsafe or overly drunk behavior will result in being removed from the class.
