About this Event

Uganda Trip Overview

This trip partners directly with local Ugandan leaders, families, and community to support sustainable, work in Uganda. The focus is on relational christ centered relationships medical outreach, and caring for vulnerable children and families through long-term partnership. Uganda is rich in culture and resilience and is home to many communities with limited access to healthcare, education, and basic resources. It is also a refuge for people displaced from surrounding countries, creating both significant need and meaningful opportunity for service rooted in dignity and collaboration.

The team supports medical outreach by working alongside Ugandan doctors, nurses, and medical staff to host pop-up clinics in rural areas and remote islands, providing dental care, Ph*rm*cy services, immunizations, lab work, and general medical care. Each outreach serves hundreds of individuals who otherwise have little or no access to healthcare. The team also serves at Jinja Children’s Home, where 50 orphaned children are cared for in a family-centered environment. Support includes daily needs such as meals, education, and medical care, as well as intentional relationship-building through play, learning, and creative activities that prioritize consistency, emotional care, and dignity.

This trip is open to individuals who desire to serve cross-culturally, who are willing to learn from local communities as part of a relational, team-based experience. No medical background is required, as all skill sets are valuable. The purpose of the trip is to expand access to healthcare in underserved communities, support orphaned children through consistent care and advocacy, strengthen local efforts already making an impact, and painly love on people. This experience offers the opportunity to serve practically, grow personally, and participate in work that continues well beyond the time spent in Uganda.
