About this Event

The art and science of pruning can greatly improve the life expectancy of landscape trees and is valuable knowledge to landscape and tree care professionals. Topics will include tree biology and mechanics, the basics of structural pruning, and proper cultural practices to extend tree life and reduce associated risk. Course instructors are Dr. Mike Orfanedes from UF/IFAS Broward County Extension and Dr. John Roberts from UF/IFAS Palm Beach County Extension.
