The Future of Food Forum is our flagship event at the Global Food Systems Institute. The Future of Food Forum 2024 will revolve around Food System resiliency. This concept pertains to a region's food system's ability to cope with and recover from shocks and stresses, ensuring that food is available, accessible, and utilized by its population. This concept has gained special relevance in recent years due to vulnerable regions in the world facing numerous and complex challenges, such as climate change, economic fluctuations, political instability, and other disruptions that can affect their food production, distribution, and consumption.
This year's forum will cover topics such as current threats to food resiliency, the impacts of natural disasters on food systems, AI-based, applications, biotic/abiotic threat management, systems thinking, and much more.
