Glyptotekets særlige arkitektur med Vinterhaven som frodigt omdrejningspunkt indbyder til ro og fordybelse.

Nu om dage er der om muligt endnu mere behov for ro og fordybelse. Derfor kan du nu tage med til yoga i festsalen, hvor du omgivet af antikke statuer kan tage en velfortjent pause.
Og hvem ved, når du er færdig med yoga, har du måske fornyet overskud til at kaste et blik på nogle af skulpturerne?
Billetten giver adgang til Glyptoteket hele dagen, hvor du kan nyde roen og gå på opdagelse i særudstillinger og samlinger fulde af kroppe.

Yoga på Glyptoteket er for alle, der har lyst til at fordybe sig og forbinde kroppen med åndedrættet. Alle kan være med – nybegynder som øvet.

OM UNDERVISEREN
Underviser Joséphine Renard har over tyve års erfaring med yoga og har undervist siden 2014. Hun arbejder ud fra en inkluderende filosofi, hvor yoga er for de fleste, uanset om du kan nå dine tæer, lever med skader eller bærer lidt ekstra på sidebenene. Hendes undervisning skaber et trygt rum, hvor du får plads til at lande i kroppen og udforske den gennem bevægelse og vejrtrækning med nysgerrighed og nærvær i fokus.

PRAKTISK
Kom i god tid, så du kan nå at låse dine ejendele inde i garderoben.
Der er yogamåtter til låns på museet samt en flaske vand til dig i Festsalen, så alt du skal gøre, er at møde op i behageligt tøj, du kan bevæge dig i.
Vær opmærksom på, at det ikke er tilladt at medbringe egen yogamåtte og vandflaske, og at der ikke er omklædningsfaciliteter på museet.
Undervisningen kl. 17-18.30 vil foregå på dansk.
Undervisningen kl. 19-20.30 vil foregå på engelsk.

YOGA AT THE GLYPTOTEK

The unique architecture of the Glyptotek with the Winter Garden as a lush focal point invites you to relaxation and contemplation.
“…I hope that in the winter the greenery can draw people in, and when they see the palms maybe they will also give some thought to the statues.” said the Glyptotek’s founder Carl Jacobsen in his opening speech in 1906, where he described the garden as a pleasurable point of entry to the works of art.
Nowadays, there is even more need for calm and contemplation. That's why you can now join us for yoga in the Central Hall, where you can take a well-deserved break surrounded by antique statues.
And who knows, when you're done with yoga, you might have renewed energy to take a look at some of the sculptures?
The ticket gives access to the Glyptotek all day, where you can explore the collections and special exhibitions.

FOR EVERYBODY
Yoga at the Glyptotek is for anyone who wants to connect their body with their breath and shed positive light on body and mind. The session is open to both beginners and people who already have experience with yoga.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Teacher Joséphine Renard has over twenty years of experience with yoga and has been teaching since 2014. Her approach is grounded in an inclusive philosophy: yoga is for most people whether you can touch your toes or not, are living with injuries, or carry a bit of extra weight. Her classes create a safe and supportive space where you’re invited to land in your body and explore it through movement and breath with curiosity, care, and presence.

PRACTICAL
Arrive well in advance so you have time to lock your belongings in the cloakroom. There are yoga mats to borrow at the museum and a bottle of water for you in the Central Hall, so all you have to do is show up in comfortable clothes you can move in.
Please note that it is not permitted to bring your own yoga mat and water bottle, and that there are no changing facilities at the museum.
The session at 5.00-6.30 pm will be in Danish.
The session at 7.00-8.30 pm will be in English.
