About this Event
The UDC ServSafe Food Protection Manager Course is recognized by federal, state, and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification. This course will help food service managers enforce critical food safety practices, in establishments, with every meal served. The UDC ServSafe Food Protection Manager course ensures that you:
- Protect the public's health and safety in your food service establishment.
- Understand current food safety policies and procedures.
- Implement effective employee training programs.
- Keep your operation in compliance with all applicable public health regulations.
Food Protection Manager certifications must be renewed every five (5) years.
The course fee of $147.00 is payable by money order to the "University of the District of Columbia," and includes direct instruction, ServSafe book, and the proctored examination.
Length of Course: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Instruction is in-person at the UDC Van Ness Campus, 4200 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. The campus is conveniently located at the Van Ness/UDC Metro stop on the Red Line.
