Ten men in a big, BIG Canyon: Men on Boats takes us on the first successful trip down the Colorado River. It's 1869, and a party of daring explorers face the threats of rushing rapids, a dwindling food supply, and their own hard-headedness as they attempt to chart the Grand Canyon. But this American story of white masculinity is taken up by a cast of diverse women, flipping the historic tale on its head, and creating a wildly theatrical satire.
