In celebration of UBNC’s 70th anniversary and flag day during America 250, we are honoring Jacksonville’s military families. Blue and Gold Star military families will be presented with a star from a retired flag which has flown over our church on a pole dedicated to a former member of our congregation, Nathan Clemons, who was killed in action in Iraq on June 14, 2005. Following the service we will be having a flag raising ceremony and BBQ and pie.
