UBF's Annual Meeting & Juneteenth Celebration

United Black Fund of Greater Cleveland (UBF) cordially invites you to join them in unveiling their clearer vision for UBF and the Black community this Juneteenth, Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 5:30 PM at the TRUSS event center for their Annual Meeting.

During the Annual Meeting, UBF will share their vision for the future and plans for advancing racial equality for the Black community in Northeast Ohio. The event will feature an in-depth genealogy conversation followed by a house party-inspired performance by GUMBO, Cleveland's premier musical artist. GUMBO is known for its unique blend of live brass instruments, overlaid by a DJ set of jazz, hip-hop, and soul music, and electrifying performances that have entertained audiences across the country. Attendees can expect to be thoroughly entertained by GUMBO's musical prowess.

Overall, the Annual Meeting promises to be an inspiring and entertaining event, celebrating the accomplishments of the Black community and looking towards a brighter future. Immediately following the annual meeting, UBF invites you to stay for the GUMBO dance party and celebrate Juneteenth with the community.

The doors will open to the general public at 5:30 PM, and the program will start promptly at 6:30 PM. Attendees are invited to join the GUMBO party from 8:00-11:00 PM. This is a free community event, and guests will be served with complimentary heavy appetizers and drinks throughout the evening.
