Join us for a grand opening of UAF's new Student Success Center! Drop in anytime between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on the sixth floor of the Rasmuson Library, Wednesday, September 18. The event is free and open to the public.
The day will include activities and giveaways. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 2:30 p.m., followed by refreshments and guided tours of the facility from 3 to 5 p.m.
The newly renovated space brings under one roof all of the major services that help students stay in school and get their degrees: academic tutoring and coaching, career advising and testing services. The modern, inviting environment is designed to facilitate collaboration and private study and includes a family room and mother's room.
