UAC "Curiosities of SF" Bike Ride Along the Bay

RSVP Here: https://urbanadventureclub.com/event-4341131This adventure combines great views of the San Francisco Bay, a flat bike ride, and visits to some of those SF gems you always meant to get to on your bucket list!
We'll meet at Heron Head's Park which offers good parking, a nice stroll along the water, and an opportunity for us to get to know each other. If we're lucky, the on-site nature center may be reopened by then too! Then we will enjoy an easy pedal to various sights including an artist scrapyard, Oracle Park (home of the SF Giants), and the famous Greenwich Steps. We'll park here for a walk up the steps to visit the historic Coit Tower and see some of the celebrity flock from the film, ""The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill""!
Back on our bikes, we'll ride the only hill of the day (it wouldn't be SF without one!) over to Aquatic Park, the Maritime Museum, the Wave Organ, Crissy Fields and Fort Point. If it's a particularly warm day you can bring your swimsuit to jump in at one of the beaches while we stop for a picnic lunch.
You really can't ask for more variety and highlights in such an easy ride in San Francisco!

10:00 AM: Meet at Heron's Head Park for intros
10:15 AM: Start biking
1:30 PM: Wrap up
What to Bring
BRING a bike
Helmet
Bike lock (or rent all the above near Embarcadero BART - recommend calling the week before)
WEAR layers (we should be warm the first half and then the Marina can be variable with possible windiness in the afternoon).
PACK a lunch and full water bottle (or bring cash/credit to buy something at the Marina Safeway for lunch...famously written about in Tales of the City!)
