Celebrate 10 years of discovery at UAA STEM Day! This free, family-friendly event invites explorers of all ages to dive into science, technology, engineering and mathematics through hands-on activities and real-world demonstrations.
Spend the day at UAA exploring more than 30 interactive booths featuring robotics, human anatomy, DNA, earthquakes, wind power, Alaska wildlife and more. UAA faculty, students and community partners will be on hand to guide experiments, answer questions and share how STEM is shaping Alaska’s future.
Enjoy free shows at the UAA Planetarium and Visualization Theater, go behind the scenes on lab tours and complete an activity passport for a chance to win prizes. New this year, enjoy a scavenger hunt and explore a special Arctic vehicle from JBER.
Admission and parking are free, and no registration is required.
Bring your curiosity, your questions and a sense of adventure!
UAA would like to thank innovator sponsor Alaska 529, and DOWL for their generous support of UAA STEM Day. Thank you also to UAA College of Arts and Sciences, UAA College of Engineering and UAA College of Health for supporting UAA STEM Day.
