Welcome to the Family Album

Wednesday 6 November 3.00–6.00pm
Followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers in collaboration with the National Museum of Holodomor Genocide, Kyiv.

U-Kino is a festival of Ukrainian cinema, with an aim to raise visibility of Ukrainian film and culture more broadly. The intention is to explore possibilities of ‘disagreeing well’, sophisticated spaces to explore conflict and the role of creative practice. The festival takes place from July – November 2024, the final screening is to coincide with commemorative events at the National Museum of Holodomor Genocide, Kyiv. The screenings take place in SODA cinema at the School of Digital Arts, Manchester Metropolitan University.


The event is free to attend, all welcome.
