An eclectic concert offering rich tapestry of classical music featuring distinguished artists. The event features local harpsichordist Michelle Kim, who will perform Antonio Vivaldi’s Sinfonia RV 725 and J.S. Bach’s Harpsichord Concerto in D minor, BWV 1052, a masterpiece that showcases Bach’s intricate counterpoint and the harpsichord’s expressive capabilities.Internationally renowned violinist Stanislav Pronin will showcase his virtuosic skills in Ravel’s “Tzigane,” a rhapsodic composition inspired by the fiery spirit of Romani music. Known for its demanding solo violin part and evocative style, captures the essence of Ravel’s fascination with Eastern European folk traditions.
The concert closes with Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances – a vibrant orchestral work from his opera Prince Igor, characterized by its lively rhythms and memorable melodies, inspired by the culture and music of the Cumans or Kumans people.
