TYP ENGAGE | What Can We Do as Non-Elected Officials?

You care about your community. But what can you actually do to make a difference?

Join us in person for TYP ENGAGE, a civic engagement event focused on the many ways you can get involved in Tucson without running for office.

Whether you’re already involved in your community or have no idea where to start, this event is designed to make civic engagement feel more accessible, practical, and approachable. We’ll explore how the issues we care about can turn into action, how Arizona’s proposition process works, what we’re actually voting on, and the many ways people can make an impact outside of elected office.

We’ll also hear from local organizations about the work they’re doing throughout Tucson and how you can get involved. The goal is to connect what you care about with real opportunities to take action in your community.

• A non-partisan overview of Arizona’s proposition process and how residents can participate
• A closer look at the propositions and ballot measures we’ll be voting on
