Join us for an easygoing day at Tyler State Park, where calm waters, tall pines, and good company set the tone. This is a social meetup for anyone who enjoys kayaking, paddleboarding, floating, or just being outdoors with new friends.Bring your own kayak or paddleboard or rent one at the park. Some of us will paddle, some will float, and others may take a short hike around the lake before the heat of the day.
Come for the whole day or just part of it.
The Loose Plan (Totally Flexible)
* 10:00 AM – Optional Group Hike - We’ll kick things off with a relaxed walk on the trails before it gets too warm.
* 11:30 AM – Picnic & Float Time - Grab a shady spot, enjoy a sack lunch, and cool off with a float or swim.
* 1:00 PM – Paddle at Your Own Pace - Kayak or paddleboard around the lake, explore, chat, or just drift and relax.
(This is not a set schedule—just an idea, open to suggestions from the group.)

Sack lunch & drinks
Kayak or paddleboard (or plan to rent at the park)
Sunscreen, hat, water shoes
Towel / dry bag (recommended)
Park entry fee (unless you have a Texas State Parks Pass)
