Founded in 1999 in Los Angeles by renowned bassist Marvin "SweetBass" Banks, TYGHTSHIP is not just a band playing tunes, they deliver a complete show for their audience. Crisp choreography, fresh arrangements and a sound that is out of this world can only be found while experiencing a TYGHTSHIP performance. Members of the band have toured and shared the stage with a variety of well known recording artists such as: The Gap Band, Jeffery Osborne, L.T.D., O'Bryan, Arsenio Hall, Lenny Kravitz, Andre Crouch, Kirk Franklin, The Whispers, Ohio Players, Rose Royce, Evelyn "Champagne" King, Roger & Zapp, Cameo, Prince, and the list goes on...
