Come and find out what all the fuss is about in this intimate of evening of flamenco music and dance by a dozen musicians and dancers from Spain and around the world. JUANI DE LA ISLA (Juan Francisco Gonzalez Caballero) is a highly respected flamenco guitarist, from the island of San Fernando near the port city of Cádiz in southern Spain. He has toured internationally accompanying some of the finest flamenco artists of this century: singers Jose Mercé, Chato de la Isla, Rancapino, Pansequito; and dancers Javier Barón, Sara Baras and Manuela Carrasco. He has composed music for the flamenco dance company of Cristina Hoyos and for over a decade has been the musical director for the popular flamenco singer “El Barrio.” Juani de la Isla’s recording career includes participation in more than 300 albums with some of Spain’s finest flamenco artists. In 2015, he released his first solo CD “Libertad En Mis Manos.”
MANUEL de La CURRA - Cantaor
Born in Jerez de la Frontera, in 1979, in a family with great flamenco tradition such as Los Sordera and Los Terremoto, which have produced great flamenco artists like Terremoto, el Sordera, Jose Soto, Sorderita, Juañares, Curro Carrasco from Navajita Plateá and Diego Carrasco, among others.
From the cradle he learns at home the art of singing and guitar playing, starting his professional career in 1999 at the tablao “El Lagar de Parrilla” and the Taberna Flamenca of Jerez. After this stage in the tablaos, he joined the cast of musicians in the band of Diego Carrasco, who led him to travel the world on tour.

Juan debuted as a flamenco singer at 16 years in the show MY HERITAGE from the dance teacher La Farruca, He is also part of the cast of several dancers such as: Manuel el Carpeta, Antonio el Farru, Antonio el Polito, Farruquito among many others. Singer with many years of experience

EL CARPETA (Bailaor)
Young gypsy dancer, Manuel was born in Seville, into one of the families with the greatest Flamenco lineage. He is the grandson of "Farruco", son of "Farruca" and brother of "Farruquito" and "Farru". The stage name was given to him by his grandfather because, from a young age, the boy absorbed like a sponge all the art from the family. Keeping it like a treasure in his own folder, surprising you when he reveals what's inside it. Before he turned 10, he was already on stage with great power. He is spontaneous and sincere, he is happy and heartfelt, he is a “Farruco” and can be seen in the film "Flamenco Flamenco" by acclaimed director Carlos Saura. He has danced on stages throughout Spain, as well as Manhattan, San Francisco, Washington, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Colombia, Israel, and many others.
LA FARRUCA (Bailaora) went on stage for the first time at the age of 13, with Camarón de la Isla himself singing in a performance in Camas; and Sabicas played bulerías for her dance in Los Angeles. After starring in shows such as 'Andalucía flamenca', 'Persecución', 'Pure Flamenco', 'Amante' and 'Bodas de Gloria', and sharing the stage with figures of the stature of El Güito, Angelita Vargas, Manuela Carrasco, and Antonio Canales, and Farruquito's first show, 'Raíces flamencas'.
