On June 5th, 2026, the St. Miriam Byzantine Choir will present a free concert featuring our local choir, the Psalmodia Choir, as well as the debut of our Chamber Choir, an advanced ensemble composed of women chanters from across North America. The concert is in partnership with the St. Constantine School of Pittsburgh and will be held in the school's chapel in Bellevue.Come hear hymns commemorating women saints throughout two millennia of the Orthodox Church. The program features hymnography honoring saints such as the Myrrh-bearing women, St. Thekla, St. Markella of Chios, St. Justina, St. Susanna the Queen of Georgia, St. Photini the Samaritan Woman, St. Catherine the Great Martyr, St. Helen, St. Sophia, St. Xenia of St. Petersburg, Righteous Olga of Alaska, and of course, the Theotokos.
The concert will be led by directors Amy Hogg and Konstantina Marinakos ,
