Two-Day Toilet Training Class for Caregivers
About this Event
These classes are open to everyone, including caregivers whose children are seen in DDBP, caregivers of children with developmental delays or disabilities not seen in DDBP, and professionals, providers, and educators who want to learn more about supporting youth with developmental delays or disabilities.
Toilet Training: 2-Day Course for Caregivers: Learn about the fundamentals of toilet training, including special considerations for teaching children with developmental disabilities. This presentation will provide a step-by-step guide to successfully train your child. This class series is good for first-time trainers or families who have tried multiple times and are seeking more in-depth toilet training information, problem-solving exercises and/or opportunity for questions and answers. This class series is appropriate for families who have watched the on-demand toilet training video and need additional explanation or support. This class occurs in-person 1-2 times per year. The series is a two-class series, and caregivers must attend both classes.
