In this two day class you'll get to make a piece of pottery from start to finish. This class runs on Saturday & Sunday 9am-10:30am.
Join us for an immersive and hands-on pottery experience in our exciting two-day pottery wheel class. Whether you're a beginner or have some prior experience with clay, this workshop is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the art of wheel-thrown pottery.
Day 1:
On the first day, you'll dive into the world of pottery as our experienced and passionate instructor guides you through the fundamental techniques and principles of working with a pottery wheel. From the moment you sit at your wheel, you'll learn the proper body posture, hand positioning, and how to center the clay, which is essential for creating balanced and symmetrical forms. As the class progresses, you'll gradually explore the intricacies of shaping and sculpting clay, focusing on basic vessel forms such as bowls, cups, or vases. Day 2:
