After 27 unforgettable years in Colchester, Twisters Bar will close its doors for the final time on New Year’s Eve 2025 — officially joining the 27 Club.This is an announcement we never imagined making, but one that feels right as we bring this incredible chapter to a close.
When we opened back in 1998, the idea was simple: good music, good drinks, and a place people could truly call home. Over the years, Twisters became more than just a bar — it became a meeting place, a memory-maker, and a constant for so many of us.
So there’s no better way to say goodbye than the way we’ve always done it.
Join DJ Rom Atkin for one last New Year’s Eve filled with Classic Music, Classic Drinks, and the Classic Crowd — because that’s what makes a Twisters NYE.
This is the night we always see familiar faces, old friends, and shared stories, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to celebrate, reminisce, and raise a glass with us as we see in the New Year together.
