Twin Cities PBS Family Zone at the Twin Cities Jazz Festival
This free, indoor, air-conditioned space at Twin Cities PBS offers a full day of music, movement, storytime, and hands-on fun for kids and families.
From 12–3 p.m., children can explore Siama’s Musical Instrument Petting Zoo and interact with a variety of musical instruments. From 3–5 p.m., enjoy live music from pianist Nate Hance.
Families can also celebrate the joy of music with PBS KIDS’ Acoustic Rooster, based on the beloved book by Kwame Alexander. Enjoy hands-on activities, clips from the show, dance parties inspired by its upbeat music, and Acoustic Rooster and His Barnyard Band Storytime throughout the day.
This event is free and no advance registration is required.
