Twin Cities Actors For Kamala Fundraiser

TWIN CITIES ACTORS FOR KAMALA and ‘DO SOMETHING’ PRODUCTIONS present

On Monday, September 30th, a glorious gaggle of the Twin Cities' most esteemed actors will be summoned to the Crooners Supper Club Main Stage. They’ll be handed a theatrical monologue or short scene and, without any rehearsal, deliver a once-in-a-lifetime performance live in front of the audience. After all, why would any actor ever want to do that twice?

Imagine Sally Wingert as Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman, Tod Petersen as Atticus Finch in To K*ll a Mockingbird, Peter Moore and Austene Van as Romeo and Juliet, Jim Lichtscheidl as Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire, or James Austin Williams and Jim Cunningham as Felix and Oscar in The Odd Couple.

There will also be Shakespearean-inspired “Speak the Speech, I Pray You” opportunities for donations. That’s right—audience members can shout out and shell out to see their favorite actors take the podium and recite a section from one of the country’s most consequential historical speeches, each one calling upon the better angels of our nature.

It promises to be an evening of fun, fundraising, and theatrical firsts—all to support a groundbreaking political moment: electing Kamala Harris as the 47th President of the United States.
