May ushers in the long-awaited return of concert seasons at the Missouri History Museum! This popular, free outdoor concert series on our North Plaza brings a lineup of spectacular shows from local musicians. Grab your blankets and lawn chairs, pack your picnic basket, and listen to music underneath a beautiful Forest Park sunset. Some of the area’s best food trucks will also be on hand each week.Bring family, friends, and food, and revel in the music as the sun sets. The Museum’s galleries are open late, and some of the area’s best food trucks will be on hand. Concerts take place from 6 to 8pm.
Twilight Thursdays will be Thursdays, May 1, 8, 15, and 22. If there is a cancelation due to weather, the rescheduled date will be Thursday, May 29.

May 1 | Dirty Muggs
Join us as we kick off the 2025 Twilight Thursday Concert Series with Dirty Muggs, performing hit music from every decade. From Earth, Wind & Fire and Tina Turner to Beyoncé, Usher, and Bruno Mars, this show is packed with non-stop energy and excitement.

May 8 | The Music of Gladys Knight & the Pips
From her first hit with Motown Records, “I Heard it Through the Grapevine,” Gladys Knight would soar to stardom, the Grammy Awards, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Alongside her brother and cousins as the sharp-dressed, smooth-stepping Pips, Knight delivered hits like “I Got to Use My Imagination,” “Midnight Train to Georgia,” and “Love Overboard”—and the music just kept coming.

May 22 | Tribute to Frankie Beverly & Maze
Singer, songwriter, and producer Frankie Beverly, along with his soul band Maze, rose to stardom after opening for Marvin Gaye, eventually cruising all the way back to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The group’s success culminated in nine gold albums and a massive following with hits like “Joy and Pain,” “Happy Feeling’,” and “Before I Let Go.” Wear all white to honor the legendary soul singer Beverly, who passed in 2024,
