Join the Wednesday TLC Healthcare Twilight Sailing SeriesThe Royal Geelong Yacht Club warmly invites Members and visitors to take part in our friendly and welcoming Wednesday Night TLC Health Care Twilight Series. Held weekly from October to March, Twilight Sailing offers an unforgettable social sailing experience on Corio Bay.
How to Register
Guests – Each week, 15 guest places are released via RevSport at 9:00am on Thursdays for the following Wednesday. Bookings are first-come, first-served, with up to 3 spots available per booking. Larger groups should contact the Sailing Office and book a dinner reservation in the Clubhouse.
Members – Skippers and crew are asked to register through Crew Finder and complete their Sail Pass and Crew Declarations before arriving at the Club. Assistance will be available at the Members Hub (Reception) if needed.
Walk-ins – Twilight is very popular, so walk-ins cannot be guaranteed a place. If you arrive without a booking, you may join a waiting list at Soos’ Bar and will be contacted if a cancellation occurs.
What to Expect
Guests check in at Soos’ Bar from 4:00pm where staff will assist with Sail Passes and direct you to your Skipper.
Boats depart at 6:00pm sharp for the race. Please arrive on time, as Skippers cannot wait.
After sailing, join us in the Clubhouse for dinner, drinks, and presentations around 8:00pm.
No experience is necessary, our welcoming skippers and crews are always happy to introduce newcomers to keelboat sailing. Twilight Sailing is a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow sailors, learn the ropes, and experience Corio Bay at its best.
