About this Event

Get ready to be amazed at this one of a kind Twilight in the Vineyard outdoor event with some of the most famous classical Chopin string Polish pieces performed flawlessly by Millennium Trio with Violist, Dorota Peglow, Cellist: Kathy Schianp, and Violinist, Lu Sun.

Wine is not included in the reservation and is required to be purchased at the vineyard after our staff checks your ID.

Violist Dorota Peglow received her Master of Music degrees from the Academy of Music in Cracow, Poland in 2001 and from Yale School of Music in 2004, where she studied with Maestro Jesse Levine. She performed with various orchestras in Poland, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Spain. More recently she performed with various Connecticut orchestras such as Bridgeport Symphony orchestra and Norwalk Symphony Orchestra. For the last ten years, she has been a viola principal of the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra.

Cellist Kathleen Schiano, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music for cello performance from the University of Kansas, and her Master’s Degree from Stony Brook, where she studied with the renowned Bernard Greenhouse, co-founder of the Beaux-Arts Piano Trio. She also studied with Laszlo Varga, Peter Howard, John Ehrlich, Uziahu Wiesel (Tel-Aviv Quartet), David Geber and Daniel Avshalomov (American String Quartet). She has appeared as a soloist with the Topeka Symphony and performed with Andrea Bocelli, Perry Como, Johnny Mathis, Engelbert Humperdink, Liberace, Sammy Davis Jr., Bob Hope, and Bill Cosby. In addition to being principal cellist with the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, Kathleen regularly performs with the Hartford Symphony.

Lu Sun began her violin studies at the age of seven in Beijing, China and traveled alone to the United States at the age of twelve. She received a full scholarship to study at the Crowden School in Berkley, California. She performed for Aaron Copland at the age of fourteen and made her solo debut with the San Francisco Symphony at the age seventeen. As a chamber musician she has performed with members of the Tokyo String Quartet. In recent years she was a member of the opera orchestra at the Opera House in Valencia, Spain under the direction of Lorin Maazel. She earner her Bachelor of Music from Indiana University, and has studied with the Tokyo String Quartet, and the Cleveland Quartet. She currently plays in the Hartford Symphony, Springfield Symphony, and the Sarasota Opera.
