About this Event
Twelfth Night:1941 (A staged reading)
London. January 5, 1941. A brave troupe of actors defies the Blitz to stage Shakespeare's most joyful comedy. Inspired by incredible true events, Twelfth Night: 1941 is Shakespeare's comedy framed within the true story of the real performers who brought joy to their community during the darkest of times. This is a story about the irresistible human need to gather, tell stories, and choose joy in the face of mortality.
