TVs of Terror returns from the dead this June to bring you more ghastly insanity than your mind or body can handle! And for our mid-year movie, we're proud to present something special. A real killer, a house favorite, a largely-unsung horror gem straight out of 1991 - POPCORN!
Mark Herrier and Alan Ormsby pay high tribute to iconic horror showman/director William Castle with Popcorn, a wild and crazy slasher that looks back to moviehouse culture of the 1950s and '60s, much in the way that Scream looked back to slashers of the '70s and '80s.The movie centers on a group of film students terrorized by a supposedly-dead deranged filmmaker during their all-night horrorthon at an abandoned theater. It's filled with weird gags, zany disguises, and thrill-K*ll fun that you'd be crazy to miss!
As per usual, we'll have snacks and pizza available to our loyal fans, and the bar will be serving a special themed drink for the evening. And we'd be remiss if we forgot to note that there will in fact be FREE POPCORN, too! So come and enjoy some weirdo B-cinema with the TVs of Terror gang this June 20th, but beware...
