Tune in, Tuesday June 18th, for an evening of tantalizing teases and television tributes! Roxy Reverie, Sugar L’Estrange, and Angora Phobia are here to flip through your favourite channels with their commercial-free charisma! Hosted by the charismatic Sheena, this burlesque show is a sexy blend of nostalgia and channel-surfing cheekiness!

Emerging from the darkest, most delicious depths of the cosplay to burlesque pipeline, Angora Phobia began her reign of titillating terror and tomfoolery in 2019 when she debuted at the Vancouver Burlesque Company Student Showcase. She has since disturbed and delighted audiences with her bold and brutalful blend of horrifying hilarity all over the Lower Mainland from Victoria to Whistler and the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival. Most recently, she was crowned the Silliest Goose at the VIBF Diamonds in the Buff Industry Awards. Angora also co-produces shows such as “8-Bit Burlesque” and “Nuts and Gum: Burlesque and Improv, Together at Last!” Fuelled by all things ravishing and revolting, adorable and atrocious, Angora Phobia won’t stop until she brings all of your strangest, most questionable late night Google Searches to life!
Roxy Reverie is dynamite, erudite, and here to serve you FACE! After a 5-year run in a Rocky Horror shadowcast as Frank-N-Furter, she began her burlesque journey to blend her theatricality with musicality. Since 2018, Roxy has performed with various productions, including the What the Funk?! Festival, Isle of Tease, Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, and the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender. Roxy is a member of Diasporic Dynasty, an all BIPOC burlesque, drag, and performing arts collective. Most notably, she is from New Jersey and will absolutely call your pizza and bagels trash.
Originally hailing from the East Coast, Sugar L’Estrange has been dancing since she could walk. Diving into the Vancouver burlesque scene in 2018 with the Vancouver Burlesque Company, she has been performing ever since at venues from coast to coast - most notably at the Oregon & Atlantic Burlesque Festivals, and the VIBF Buffies. She has also been nominated for Nerdlesque Nobility at the 2023 Silver Tusk Awards. With tresses of temptation to lure you in, this bodacious bi babe is most known for bringing the cheese - she is sure to entice even the most lactose intolerant. A little sweet, a little deadly, Sugar is sweet as pie and strange AF.

Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. With limited seating available advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended. Mum’s the Word is open to the public before doors open so feel free to come before 8:00 to secure the best spot.
