About this Event

A-wop-babaloo-balop-bam-boom!

Step into a time machine and experience the raw, piano-pounding electricity of the "Architect of Rock ‘n’ Roll." Tutti Frutti: The Musical – The Concert Version is a high-octane tribute that relives the legendary energy of Little Richard: Live in Hollywood.

Following its critically acclaimed West Coast Premiere at the Lesher Center for the Arts, this professional production is hitting the stage as a focused, 80-minute concert experience. While the full-length musical dives into the drama of Richard Penniman’s life, this concert version is a pure celebration of the music, recreating the fast-paced, soulful, and wild atmosphere of his most iconic Hollywood performances.

Starring Emmy and Broadway World Award-winning actor Dedrick Weathersby, this show captures the vocal fire and flamboyant showmanship that influenced everyone from The Beatles, James Brown to Prince.

What to Expect:
  • The Hollywood Experience: Relive the 1960s "Club Okeh" era, fast, loud, and soulful.
  • The Greatest Hits: Non-stop live performances of "Tutti Frutti," "Long Tall Sally," "Good Golly Miss Molly," "Lucille," "Rip It Up," and many more.
  • World-Class Musicianship: A powerhouse live band delivering the "Architect" sound with precision and passion.
  • Award-Winning Performance: Witness the portrayal that critics have hailed as a "masterclass" in honoring Little Richard’s legacy.

Event Details:
  • Show Format: 80-minute high-energy concert.
  • Background: This is the concert adaptation of the full-length theatrical production, licensed with exclusivity by Sony Music Publishing.
  • Attire: Rock ‘n’ roll threads are highly encouraged! Poodle skirts, leather jackets, and vibrant hair are welcome.
  • Doors Open: 6:45PM | Show Starts: 7:30PM

Don't miss this "Rock 'n' Rolling" good time from the creators of the award-winning Remembering James: The Life and Music of James Brown.

Grab your tickets now and get ready to "Rip It Up" with the King and Architect of Rock 'n' Roll!
