Meet Your Instructor
Mosaic artist, Linda Purrazzella, began creating both functional and fine art mosaics in 2010 and has had her work displayed in mosaic exhibitions, galleries, and selected craft fairs on Long Island, NY, prior to coming down to Florida, where she is a full time resident in Ocean Village on Hutchinson Island since 2019. She has had a number of private commissions over the years.
Linda is drawn to the contrast of materials and flow within a work. Mosaic art is a unique medium because of the reflective and textural nature of the pieces.
Creating with pieces of glass, ceramic and tile, which has a long history and tradition, she finds inspiration in a more contemporary exploration, focusing on texture, contrast, shape and color.
