What better way to welcome back the hot days and warm nights than the tropical music extravaganza that is Turning Point?
For our first party of the summer we welcome as our guest one half of the Pressure Drop crew, Guvnor General.
The General is known not only for the range and great taste of his vintage Jamaican selections....
...he also has deep tropical crates, being a regular collaborator of A Man Called Warwick and serial guest at both Turning Point and Montreal's Canicule Tropical.
Besides DJing, he has contributed greatly to the underground party and concert scene in Toronto by bringing to town such artists and crews as Sister Nancy, King Shiloh, Worldwild Soundsystem, and Jah Tubbys.
Expect dancefloor fireworks courtesy of the Guvnors all vinyl selections from Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and other global oases of rhythmic pleasure
