TURN, FEED & GROW!

Meet in the garden for a chat — and a bit of composting!
This October, we're giving the Sunken Garden's compost heap some attention. We'll be turning the compost that's still breaking down and spreading the finished, fluffy, crumbly stuff around our planting beds to help nourish the soil.
It's a simple but important part of looking after our garden sustainably.
Recycling organic matter, returning nutrients to the soil and making good use of what the garden produces.
No gardening experience needed
Come for as little or as long as you like
Meet the volunteers, learn a little about composting and enjoy some fresh air
Bring gardening gloves if you have them. We'll have a good natter while we work!
