Turbulent Age of Sigmar Cogfort Challenge

**Welcome all to THE COGFORT CHALLENGE!!!** This will be a one day, free to enter Age of Sigmar event hosted by Turbulent Games on July 11th. The goal is simple - build, convert, and paint your new cogfort over the next 5-6 weeks and then crush your foes in a winner takes all grand melee!
But what is a cogfort? Essentially, they are walking castles, bristling with guns that can be taken in both the Cites of Sigmar army and as a regiment of renown in every other Age of Sigmar faction. Games workshop has released a series of articles highlighting cogfort background information, conversion ideas, and rules that you can find below:

For this event, we will have two awards: (1) coolest cogfort and (2) grand melee champion. The coolest cogfort competition will take place before the grand melee where we will line up all of our new cogforts at 1200 and voting will commence. This will be open to the public and anyone can vote during this time. Pictures will be taken and posted online so please be respectful with your conversions. Additionally, you do not need to paint the model (although I imagine it will improve your chance of winning the award) nor do you have to use the official GW cogfort model as conversions (as long as they are on the proper 160mm base) will be accepted. The grand melee will start ~1230 where each player will get to choose which cogfort they would like to use (cannonade or conqueror) and we will space ourselves out on a large table to fight to the death! More details will be released on the day of the event. Also, the actual Cities of Sigmar cogfort rules seem a bit more exciting so we will likely use the “Full Power!”, “Full Charge!”, and “Overheating” rules from them. PDF print out of these rules will be available on the day of the event. The winner of the coolest cogfort and grand melee will get small trophies (that I will hopefully get done in time 😊).
