Whether you're new to Tunisian crochet or want to expand your skills, this class is for you! We will be working in the round to create a pillowcase. Each pillowcase will have three sections, each a different stitch! This will be a "choose your own adventure" style class. We will have swatches available of a variety of stitches to choose from.
Prior experience with Tunisian crochet is helpful but not necessary. You should be able to confidently crochet a chain.
You will learn:
Tunisian in the Round
Tunisian Simple Stitch
Tunisian Knit Stitch
Tunisian Purl Stitch
Tunisian Honeycomb Stitch
Tunisian Full Stitch
Color changes in Tunisian crochet
Materials to Purchase:
3 skeins of aran weight yarn, all different colors
6.5 mm double ended Tunisian crochet hook OR you can use two interchangeable hooks with a short cable
Scissors
Tapestry needle
Pillow insert of your choosing
*Please note, if you choose a yarn in a different weight you will need a different hook size. Contact the shop with any questions.
