Summer is finally here, and we couldn’t be more ready. Participate in all the seasonal fun, and celebrate a great cause, at the Town’s Tunes for Trails, Perks for Parks free concert series. The series kicks off Thursday, June 17, with Woodland Park.
Don’t miss great music, delicious food and drinks, and family friendly fun on the third Thursday of the month with a free concert series at The Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. Sponsored by the Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation, these events are a great way for the entire family to donate, dance and dine.
The guys of Woodland Park K*ll it every time they hit the stage. From Stevie Ray Vaughan to Jason Aldean to Stevie Wonder and everything in between, they bring together a wide array of musical influences to create unique, edgy and catchy country/rock music.
The gates open at 5:30 p.m. The concerts run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Registration is not required. Open seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. So, come early and enjoy yard games, bouncy houses and fun for the entire family. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, or pack a picnic. Please keep in mind, outside alcohol will not be permitted.
Donations and proceeds from beverage sales will benefit the Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation. The foundation is an organization independent from the Town that works to enhance Castle Rock’s parks, trails and recreational spaces. Learn more about the foundation at getoutdoorscastlerock.org.
