This month's alt-rock showcase is all about introducing returning pals' bands to the Tuned Up scene, as "Tuned28 Presents" the triple-threat lineup of Shadow Puppets, Hatter, and Alex Stanilla & The Pi Seas!
Plus, all of the 228 Productions shows at Tuned Up are continuing to accept donations of winter goods to benefit local outreach group Better Days Ahead -- see list in event discussion!

7pm: The protagonists of ALEX STANILLA & THE PI SEAS' songs live at the intersection of fact and fiction, the push and pull between introspective honesty and rich character study. We're thrilled to host this Lebanon-based full-band expansion of Alex's cinematic songwriting style! AlexStanilla.Bandcamp.com
8pm: Tamaqua-based band HATTER is no stranger to the Phoenixville scene, last appearing 'round these parts as the headliner for the first KRS benefit at Rec Room on 3/2, and having played many a 228 show over the years. Hatter fuses big vocals and groovin' low end with blazing guitar solos and a captain's hat that will make you want to keep the party going all night long!

9pm: Another welcome return is our headliner SHADOW PUPPETS, a dark blend of garage, punk and psyche rock, songs of love/hate themes with steampunk and spooky stuff. Influenced by the Stooges and thirteenth-floor elevators, with a sound that can't help but move you to dance, jump and shout!
