This time, award-winning Danish/Greek jazz singer and composer Veronica Mortensen, joins forces with bassist Ida Hvid and keys Peter Rosendal 🎵 From 16.00, she will embrace you with her warm, rich voice and elegant musicality, as well as embrace musical styles from a range of cultures, within and beyond the borders of her homelands.

Veronica Mortensen is one of Denmark's most interesting vocalists. She is loved by audiences everywhere for her warmth and straightforwardness, and praised by reviewers for both her live performances and her recordings. She is the composer of most of the material on her 5 albums. Since her critically acclaimed debut album from 2003, she has been in demand for concerts all over Europe and beyond. Furthermore she is a popular guest in several Big Bands, such as Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, DR Big Band and Bohuslän Big Band. For her album “Catching Waves” she has received an honorary award by DPA the Danish Songwriters Guild. A number of her songs have appeared among the most played songs on the playlist of the Danish Radio channel P8 Jazz. With her on stage, Veronica Mortensen has a fantastic team of musicians and the repertoire will consist of a selection of popular jazz standards.
