Tuna Festival Boxing Derby 2025 on Sept. 6-7 at OvalBy Lito delos Reyes
THE 2025 Tuna Festival Invitational Amateur Boxing Derby will be held on September 6 and 7 at the Oval Plaza Covered Court in General Santos City.
“Eight teams will see action in this boxing derby,” said tournament director Sannie Sombrio of the Mandirigmang Pinoy Boxing Association.
They are Maitum, Maasim. Alabel, Polomolok-South Cotabato, General Santos City Team A, B, C and D.
“They will weigh in on September 6 at 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and will start fighting at 1 p.m.,” said Sombrio.
The winners will advance on September 7.
The first day winner will receive P600 while the losers get P400. The second day winner will earn P600 while the loser receives P400.
Cash prizes will also be given away to the team winners – champion, 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners-up.
