David Briggs, the Tumble Yoda, is a former gymnast trained at Champion’s Academy of Gymnastics, Cranford, New Jersey, Tri-Cities Gymnastics, Petersburg, Virginia, and Gymiami, Opa Locka, Florida under the coaching of Bruce Davis, coach of Kurt Thomas, Ron Galimore, and many other National and Olympic Level gymnasts.
Since 1979, he has been blessed to serve in the industry as a tumbling coach, Gymnastics Instructor, Tumbling Director, Independent Program Operator, gym director, and Gym Co-Owner.
He has served as an Artistic Gymnastics NAWGJ Judge, AAU Power Tumbling Judge, AAU Trampoline and Tumbling Vice-President, guest clinician, gym consultant, staff trainer, and tumbling curriculum writer for many programs across the country.
