What does the Rug tufting class include ?

2 Sessions of Rug tufting classes

Our Team will :

Session One :

Provide instructions on setting up your tufting station

Provide Instructions on how to use a tufting gun

Supervise throughout the entire tufting process

Provide tufting frame and gun to use during class

Provide yarn for selected design

Session Two :

Provide instructions on applying rug backing

Provide instructions on how to use a sheep shearer

Supervise throughout entire shaving process

Provide instructions on finishing and completing rug

How long is a class?

Each session typically may take up to 3 hours - please allocate the appropriate amount of time for your session. Session 2 typically takes place the following week unless indicated otherwise.

How are designs chosen for my rug ?

All participants are given options for pre approved designs that fit within our design guidelines.

How large will my rug be at the end of the sessions ?

Participants will be working on a 2.5 by 2.5 tufting frame. Designs will be made as large as possible to fit within those dimensions .

When will my rug piece be finished ?

We require at least 24 hours for rug glue to dry properly. Rugs will be completed in session two once finished you may take your completed rug home.

How many people can work on a rug ?

Each tufting station is limited to 1 person.

Do I need to be vaccinated ?

We do not require participants to be vaccinated. Due to Covid classes 4-6 max each session .We do require mask wearing and proper social distancing.
