ABOUT THE FEATURED POETS: Yerram
Yerram (they/them/theirs) is a writer, researcher and mental health practitioner whose writings stem from their lived experiences as a trans disabled person in healthcare, and using poetry as a tool for liberation. They are a passionate advocate for building inclusive workspaces, and their recent works include Redefining Queerscapes Through Poetry (Reframe VI: Global Mental Health from the Margins, 2024) and a chapter in Queer Judgements (Oxford University Press, 2024), essays in Yaari, Yoda Press, & Tilt 2.0., to name a few. They’re serving as a Guest Editor for Usawa Mag, and Amicus Curiae.
